Plant Partnertm provides several methods for placing items on orders. It's easy to switch from one method to another. The system knows how you package and price each item so this information displays automatically as you place items on orders.
Bar Code Entry
For maximum speed, use a laser pen to scan the product bar codes followed by the quantity on the product sheet. As soon as you scan a product code, the available quantity to sell displays as well as any comments that have entered about this item.
Cart Fill Window Entry Mode
This method is ideal if you want to avoid shipping partially full carts. As you scan product codes, the system displays the total quantity of carts required by order as well as the quantity of additional items that should be purchased to completely fill the carts.
Even if you don't ship in carts, this method is great for keeping running totals of each size of product ordered.
Manual Order Sheet Entry Mode
This method lets the order taker scroll through the items in your Sales Catalog and type in the requested quantities. This method displays the available to sell quantity and any comments for each item, making substitutions easy.
