New WalMart EDI 810 (Invoice) Map - Version 4030

Wal-Mart has decided to implement the EDI Version 4030 specifications. To be compliant with this requirement, you need to purchase a new 810 Transaction Map (Invoice). Please contact your EDI representative to find out when you are required to be compliant with these specifications.

The new 4030 version of the map is based on the latest EDI downloaded text file as of Plant Partner Version 6.7x. To implement the new Wal-Mart map, you must update to version 6.7x. If you are currently running Plant Partner 2000 (6.x), this is a free update available on our web site. If you are using Plant Partner 5.x you need to purchase the Plant Partner 2000 upgrade. Wal-Mart also decided to assign a random 13 character store number to each location. In version 6.7x, we expanded our store number field to handle this requirement. After installing the 6.7x version, you need to change every Wal-Mart Ship To record so each record has the appropriate store number entered in the store number field. In the 4010 version, Starcom created the store number by stripping characters from the ship to ID.
