Training Descriptions
Starcom provides hands-on classroom
training in our Bothell, Washington office,
Instructor led training courses taken on the
Internet or personalized training at your location.
At the Starcom Training Facility
Our
classes will help you expand your knowledge of the
basics and enable you to fully capitalize on Plant
Partner software capabilities. As part of the training,
you partake in training exercises and we address your
particular questions and any problems that you are
facing. The classroom trainings generally last one day
allowing you to choose the area you need improvement.
We
believe in practical training that provides you with
sufficient time to practice as you learn. Therefore, the
class size is limited to ten students with a minimum of
six students. Each attendee receives a training manual
and has the use of a class personal computer during the
instruction.
Advance
registration is required since seating is limited; we
request that advance payment be made to Starcom at least
4 weeks prior to class.
With the Classroom Training Registration Form you
can submit one form with multiple attendees.
Training At Your Facility via the
Internet
Using
your Internet browser you connect to the Starcom
E-Learning Center and attend convenient two hour courses
in a virtual classroom without ever leaving your
greenhouse. If you don't want to take the time to travel
or pay for a trainer to travel to your office, then the
Starcom E-Learning Center is the solution.
When
you become a member of the Starcom E-Learning Center,
you have access to training courses that cover the core
features and functions of Plant Partner. Membership
registration must be done two weeks prior to a course
registration. Training course registrations are done one
week in advance of course date. Payment must be
completed at time of registration.
Customized Training
At Your Facility
Register
for Starcom’s personalized on-site training if you
want to learn Plant Partner software but don't want to
take the time to travel to a classroom training outside
of your offices. You can learn how to customize the
reports and invoice documents for your specific needs.
We
can solve your unique training problems by personalizing
the training and presenting it at your location. In that
way, you address your specific needs and learn from our
trainers at your own pace.
Advance
registration is required for scheduling purposes. We
have a limited number of On-site training times
available. Booking early is recommended. We request that
advanced payment be made to Starcom at least 4 weeks
prior to class.
